there are 3 sources are which creates pain and happiness. MAN, VACHAN AND KAYA ( MIND, WORDS AND ACTION) every one shuns emissary, pain or suffering and yearns for comfort, happiness. but the way to the happiness is shown to the deserving by the worthy teacher who expounds the principles of dharma. every one desires for attaining true the happiness at the earliest , that arises from the destruction of all Karmas which result from right conduct which is dependent on right knowledge . the right knowledge is acquired from all blemishes such as attachment etc. therefore, after duly reasoned out scrutiny of him, the source of all happiness, let the worthy resort to him for their benefit.
the pursuit of sense- pleasures is a mirage, the pleasures are just a result of the past PUNYA, so one should be sensible enough to fix one's eye on one 's future prospects.
the human body is a veritable prison for the ATAMAN. it is a folly to be attached to it. BIRTH is the mother; death father,and physical sufferings brothers and decrepitude is the friend of this living being in the last stage.And yet there is love for the body.the kiths and kins are not in any way permanent associates. so one should pursue the path of dharma., wealth and other external accessories are temporary . the poor are discontented for not obtaining wealth and the rich too are so for want of contentment.Alas! all are in distress but only the monk or an ascetic is happy for his happiness alone is self independent. the happiness is dependent on any thing else necessarily leads to privation and pains.
